For much of my life, I’ve been able to compartmentalize my thoughts. When I say that, I basically mean mentally “Putting things on the shelf” and little did I know the more harm than good it did to me. What we fail to realize is some of the things we put on the shelf, may not even be addressed until years later. It’s time to start addressing the mess that consumes your mind and life.
I know some of you may be thinking, what does the mess that I put on the shelf has to do with anything? Well, I’m glad you asked. You see, the things we put on the shelf (and probably never address) start to pile up. Life doesn’t wait for you to address that problem or concern, things will continue to come at us. If you continue to shelf one thing after the other, we’ll be left with a bunch of problems, concerns, or issues that were never addressed.
Think about some things in your life that you didn’t address, put it on the shelf and they come back in your life at the most inconvenient time and results in a unfavorable outcome. Addressing the mess is a life tool accessible to you. You’ll begin to see the growth in your life from a personal, spiritual, and emotional perspective.
My biggest advice to you is to address the mess. Sometimes addressing the mess will put you in an uncomfortable situation but you’ll be thankful for it later. Life isn’t about carrying unnecessary baggage. Let’s begin clearing those shelfs of mess and continue on our journey of life with less luggage.
I’m on this journey with you. Let’s grow together, win together and succeed together. Blessings unto you
